The ripe Chardonnay grapes provide sweet fruit aromas. At the same time, the Pinot Noir and Meunier add a broad, luscious, and smooth character. The making process of Collection 242 reflects Louis Roederer’s commitment to quality and innovation. The blend is based on a “Perpetual Reserve,” initiated with the 2012 vintage and enriched annually with wines from the latest harvest. This reserve is stored in large stainless steel vats to enhance freshness and balance the maturity of the grapes.
