FLAVOUR PROFILE
Deep garnet in colour with a bouquet of black cherry, Damson plum, currant, vanilla extract, chocolate, and sweet spice. A medium-bodied, fruit-forward Merlot with soft drying tannins and fruit-forward flavours of blackberry, black currant, and black cherry, with a touch of spice. The finish shows notes of blackberry, black tea, spice, and oak.
SERVING SUGGESTIONSServe at a cool room temperature of 16 to 18°C. Serve with gourmet burgers; grilled red meats; meaty red sauce pasta dishes; cold prime rib slices on 12 grain bread; pepperoni and mushroom pizza; one-year-old Canadian Cheddar and Asiago with crunchy baguette. The perfect “House-Merlot”.
