Selected premium Cabernet Franc grapes undergo traditional red wine making. Subtle French and American oak integration for added depth of flavour. Full malolactic fermentation to soften the mouthfeel.
FLAVOUR PROFILE
A bright ruby red colour with a bouquet of currant, blackberry, smoky oak, tobacco leaf, and spice. A dry, medium-bodied, and fruit-forward Cabernet Franc with soft drying tannins, and flavours of dark plum, currant, spice, oak, and dried herbs, which also linger on the finish with a lovely savoury note.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Serve at a cool room temperature of 16 to 18°C. Serve with gourmet burgers topped with aged cheddar and crispy onion rings; prime rib pita wraps; barbecued steaks; beef and mushroom stews; pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom pizza; meat pies; London broils; meaty cheesy lasagna; rich tomato sauce pasta dishes with Parmigiano Reggiano. Drink now through 2025.
