Mount Gay Eclipse Rum

Mount Gay Eclipse Rum, is a blend of rums distilled in traditional column and double retort copper pot stills, then matured for two years in charred ex-American whiskey casks. Eclipse is the reference for character, body, and aroma by which our Master Blender Trudiann Branker uses to blend every variety of Mount Gay Rum. For many rum aficionados, Eclipse is also the reference by which all rum should be measured. Mount Gay Eclipse has a brilliant golden amber color and a luxuriously complex aroma. Our heritage blend is named after the 1910 total solar eclipse that was visible from Barbados. Mount Gay Eclipse Rum has distinctive floral and fruity notes of apricot and banana, with hints of vanilla, which gives the warm, medium body with a bright finish. Ideal in long drinks or cocktails, it can also be enjoyed on the rocks or neat. Enjoy!
